Welcome to another SD event. Drift event for basic to advanced drivers. This year we are proud to announce that our events are Michgan D1 Underground events also. We will be doing comp. searching for new drivers to D1. Drifting, and fun that's what its all about.
SCHOOL: We have a group 1 basic driver and school. You will be in a 1 on 1 class and learn about drifting. Then you also will be on the track with instructors Driving, Riding with then having them drive your car. Giving you the most input you can use to become a better driver.
Amateur Competition: Advanced courses and practice then on to Comp. Points granted to best drivers and hitting clipping points. Top drivers will get a chance to qualify for D1 Chicago. (More info on this as it grows)
CAR SHOW: A small car show will be going on threw the day.

$5.00 (will have to sign a waiver form and have wristband in order to ride along, valid all day but not during competition.)
Passengers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian present and fill out additional paperwork.
DETAILS:
This is a one day practice/competition event. 32 driver capacity, must be 18+ to participate in the event. Drivers 16-17 must have parent/guardian present and fill out additional paperwork. All drivers/passengers are required to wear long pants, closed toe shoes. Drivers and paid passengers are require to have accurate wrist bands and will be checked before entering the drift area.
DRIVERS REGISTRATION:
Drivers must be 18+ years or older, drivers 16-17 must have parent/guardian present and fill out additional paperwork. One pit crew member can get into the event at no cost, driver must provide name at time or registration. Pit Crew member must pay and have accurate wrist band in order to ride along.
Late registration: $85.00 (April 17th - April 30th)
Event Day registration: $100.00 (if spots are open)

The event will have 3 run groups: A, B, and C and run hour sessions throughout the day. We will also be grouping drivers (as best we can) on skill level to make the sessions more efficient. This means a blend of advanced, intermediate, and beginning drivers to keep the groups consistent. Tandem information will be released very soon. Please look at main website for tech information, competition rules, and further important information. This is considered a D1 Underground event and top 4 drivers of the tandem competition will be reported to D1UG. Please click on the link for more information from D1.
